Abstract

Doctor Jairo Villasmil's book represents a contribution to education from a perspective of the most socially disadvantaged who struggle every day to transcend to a better earthly existence through the transformation provided by formal and institutionalized education. It is the opportunity to present an investigation from the resilient experiences of social actors, it is to know their strengths to overcome multiple adversities. The educational social psychological perspective impregnated in Villasmil's book, makes it possible for the reader to reconcile the reflection on the importance of being resilient, of fighting and overcoming adversity with a look of hope, it is also an opportunity to study a process investigative coadjuvant in the training of novice researchers in the educational and psychological field, it is an opportunity to observe life with a scientific but human gaze, this being the most important edge to reveal in the current work role
