Abstract

The book proposes how the ideal of the role of counselor is constituted in a pillar of the daily praxis of the teacher, and this should be reflected in the university training programs for future teachers, protected by the educational orientation as a theoretical and conceptual element. As a state of the art of educational orientation in university environments, new interpretations and an understanding are generated to give guidelines that make it possible to implement strategies and qualitative improvements in their training. For this reason, this text is called to become a mandatory reference for research and the exercise of guiding practices in the curriculum
